A Distinct Identity
Philippians 3: Ministries, Inc. knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. 2005 was the year that started this journey and in 2007 were established as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit. In 2007 our validation became visible when we secured office space at the JoAnn Carter Harrelson Center in downtown Wilmington, NC, and the rest we say is history, is now and the future! Our Non-Profit Organization realizes that by working together with partner agencies in collaborative efforts, we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and the changes accomplished are multiplied many times over!!

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of hunger. As an agency certified with Food Bank of CENC, we are able to provide emergency food for individuals as well as households. Providing and consuming nourishing meals is the desire of every human being, and being able to help take the stress of deciding if food, medicine, or rent is the most important choice yo have to make. At Philippians 3: Ministries, Inc., we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the feeling of being overwhelmed, and with the Still Waters Room being there for those who are on the verge of giving up, they are able to retreat, recharge, reconnect and re-focus on what is their present issue without feeling hopeless! No matter what you are facing, we are there for you! Why?
